Google, previously had launched limited App Runtime for Chrome (ARC), is now expanding its beta project to allow android apps to run on Windows, OS X and Linux.
It is actually launched for developers but anyone can download Apk of existing app and run it on Google Chrome via Windows, Mac book or Chromebook.
To do this you need to download the ARC App and also download Apk of App from Play Store to run android apps. However it comes with limitations, only one app at a time and you have to select layout to show.
ARC is powered by Android 4.4 Kitkat and its highly compatible but it crashes when you use camera from any app. It also crashes on many apps too like Facebook but the good thing about this is that you can run favorite apps from Play Store directly to PC.
The other problem with this ARC is that majority of App are made for touch so you cannot use every app properly but still as it is in beta so we are expecting much progress in future. On the other hand Windows have not tried anything but they are also not helping anymore.
