Uber, an American international transportation networks, made a recent announcement of vacancies at careers page of uber hinted that it is planning to launch in Pakistan.
Now there is official confirmation from communication manager of middle east & africa, Shaden Abdellatif, that Uber is extending its services to Pakistan.
In reply to an email of Valuewalk he said
We can confirm we are currently recruiting for a team in Lahore, and are very excited about launching in Pakistan as we see huge potential in the way we can help people move around their city safely and reliably.
We are also excited about the opportunity for economic empowerment we can bring to the drivers we partner with.Â
