WhatsApp voice chat mode is being tested for Meta AI

The well-known messaging app WhatsApp is launching a new beta update for smartphone users that suggests an interesting feature that is voice chat mode for communicating with Meta AI.

The international messaging app WhatsApp is continuously working on developing new features every chance they get to improve user experience.

WABetaInfo stated that once the feature is released, the users will be allowed to customize their conversation with the Meta AI. Users will be able to carry out real-time conversations using speak recognition and providing a hands-free and more organized way to communicate with the Meta AI.

Additionally, users will have the option to customize their experiences by choosing from a variety of voices for the responses provided by Meta AI. It is anticipated that in a future this update will be available, which will let the users to customize the AI speech to their liking.

Users will also have the choice to change the mode at the any time by quitting the chat or shifting to text mode. Thanks to this, users will always have complete control over their interactions and privacy with the AI. Furthermore, the users will also be able to see it the Meta AI is still listening or not by the visual indicator provided by the Android OS, providing more control and transparency.

In order to keep the users to return for more, it is all part of a big plan to improve the interaction and involvement of their apps.

Even though the WhatsApp voice chat mode is still in early stages of development, Meta AI’s voice chat mode is an important step in the way AI is being implemented into everyday communication platforms.
