Punjab Excise Taxation and Narcotics Control Department has launched an unorthodox e-registration card service, allowing car owners to obtain a digital copy of their registration cards.
The goal of this project is to simplify the registration process for cars and address the issues faced by the numerous car owners who are punished for not having the physical registration cards.
By introducing the convenient service of e-registration card, Punjab Excise Taxation department has made it possible to download the soft copy of their registration cards on their smart phones, putting an end to the need to carry around paper documents.
It was revealed in the social media post of the department that those car owners who have completed the registration process but still haven’t received their physical cards can access an online virtual version.
It can be done through simple steps:
- Go to the Official Website of department to view the excise department’s website.
- Click on the “E-Registration Card” option from the menu bar.
- Enter your vehicle’s registration number and chassis number on the new page
- Put the chassis number and vehicle’s registration number on new page.
- Finish the verification process and click the search button to get to your e-registration card.
- Save the soft copy of your registration card on your smart phone for the future.
It is not only advantageous for car owners, but it also reduces the need for physical documents and prolongs related to this.
