KP CM launched "Ekhtyar" portal to address public complaints.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has introduced the “Ekhtyar” portal as a significant step in addressing public grievances and advancing good governance in the province.

The newly built platform was formally unveiled on Wednesday at a ceremony held at the Civil Secretariat in Peshawar by Chief Minister Ali Amin Khan Gandapur.

The portal is a feature-rich and intuitive online platform where citizens can now register complaints about their problems and complaints. Public complaints will be monitored in real time, and complaints about the provision of services by public sector organizations will be tracked, facilitating prompt redress and resolution with the use of this around-the-clock platform. This portal can also be used by Pakistanis living abroad to submit their worries and complaints.

Dashboards for all departments and officers are offered by this all-inclusive platform, ensuring smooth coordination and prompt implementation of government decisions. It features a simplified complaint submission mechanism, multi-channel interaction, a citizen feedback loop, AI-powered analytics, data security and privacy, and reporting. The platform can be accessed via mobile app, WhatsApp, email, phone, and written application.

Likewise, this innovative endeavor, which promotes efficient communication between the government and the populace, will aid in augmenting transparency, accountability, and public trust in the government.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur emphasized the portal’s importance by stating, “The purpose of this portal is to provide immediate solutions to people’s problems. We are empowering the people, because solving their problems is our priority.”

He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to citizen-centric governance and gave the assurance that complaints would not be closed until the complainant was satisfied.

He declared that the “Ekhtyar” portal sets a new standard for public service delivery and participatory governance in the province as the province embraces digital transformation.

This revolutionary portal is evidence of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s commitment to leveraging technology to promote good governance and citizen empowerment.

The 99-point “Awami Agenda, is already received by the civil administration, according to the Chief Minister of KP. This made major improvements across the province and has improved service delivery.

He also stated that the launch of the “Ekhtyar” portal will accelerate the execution of that goal.

Attending the ceremony were members of the provincial cabinet, the acting chief secretary, the inspector general of police, and administrative secretaries. By video link, divisional commissioners, district police officers, regional police officers, and deputy commissioners were also present for the ceremony.
