Hundreds of users in Pakistan are unable to access the famous social networking platform X, which was previously known as Twitter.
X went down nationwide at roughly 9 p.m., according to Downdetector.pk, a real-time internet and social media outage monitoring website.
The social networking site’s postings were inaccessible to X users since the error notice “this site can’t be reached” would display every time they attempted to access the site.
Downdetector reported that at 9:01 p.m., they received 185 complaints of outages.
Internet and social media site outages have been frequent in the nation as of late, with the most recent wave occurring during the past few months in the aftermath of the 2024 general election.
Social media sites like X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and streaming powerhouse YouTube were among those that netizens griped about last month, along with Google services and internet service provider PTCL.
In May of 2023, X experienced worldwide disruptions following a deluge of customer complaints from all corners of the globe.
